A newly established UK software company
ELVARIS SOFTWARE LTD is a private limited company registered in England and Wales, providing project-based software development and IT consultancy. The company is newly established, and this page sets out its position plainly rather than overstating it.
What is true about ELVARIS today
Software development and IT consultancy, delivered project by project
ELVARIS SOFTWARE LTD is registered for two activities: business and domestic software development, and information technology consultancy activities. Work is organised into eight named services across four categories, each scoped and priced individually rather than sold as a fixed package.
Projects are delivered remotely where appropriate. Scope, assumptions and commercial terms are agreed in writing before any work begins, and project-specific written terms take priority over the general terms published on this website where the two differ.
Being direct about a new company
ELVARIS does not claim decades of experience, a large internal team, completed-project statistics, client testimonials, industry awards or press coverage, because none of these exist yet. What is offered instead is a structured way of working, a clearly defined service list, and direct, written communication about scope and price.
Six principles that shape how engagements run
Understand the real service
Before proposing a system or recommendation, the underlying process or decision is understood on its own terms, not fitted to a pre-existing template.
Define responsibility clearly
Every engagement sets out who decides what, so scope changes are agreed rather than assumed.
Keep scope visible
The written proposal remains the reference point throughout the engagement, for both parties.
Design for actual users
Interfaces and recommendations are shaped around who will actually use them, not an idealised user.
Make decisions explainable
Technical and structural decisions are documented well enough to be explained to a non-technical stakeholder.
Deliver maintainable outcomes
Handover leaves the client able to maintain a system, or act on a recommendation, independently if they choose to.
Remote-first, project-based delivery
Engagements are conducted remotely where the nature of the work allows it, using written proposals, structured calls and shared documents. Where an engagement requires access to a client's premises or systems, this is agreed as part of scoping.
Written agreement before work begins
No development or consultancy work begins before a written proposal has been accepted. Full commercial terms are set out in the Terms & Conditions, and project-specific terms agreed in a proposal take priority over the general website terms where they conflict.
