Workforce Planning & Resource Platforms
A custom browser-based system for organisations that need clearer visibility over who is available, where they are assigned and how workload is distributed — replacing spreadsheets and group messages with one shared, role-based record.
Indicative starting price. Final pricing depends on scope and is confirmed in a written proposal.
When this service is usually considered
- Rotas or staff availability are tracked across separate spreadsheets that fall out of sync.
- Assigning people to projects or shifts relies on informal messages rather than a shared record.
- Managers cannot easily see who is available, overloaded, or unassigned at a glance.
- Historical assignment records are needed for planning or review but are not currently kept centrally.
- Multiple team leads need visibility of the same resource pool without duplicating records.
Capabilities considered for this service
- Team and resource records with role and skill attributes.
- Availability tracking and simple leave or absence marking.
- Rota and schedule views by person, team or date range.
- Workload planning views to spot gaps and overlaps.
- Role-based access so managers and staff see what is relevant to them.
- Operational dashboards summarising current assignments.
- Assignment history for reporting and review.
- Notifications for schedule or assignment changes.
- Document attachment against a person or assignment.
- Export and reporting for offline review or record-keeping.
This is not payroll software and does not include HR compliance certification. It is a planning and visibility tool, not a statutory records system.

- Any existing systems the platform needs to sit alongside.
- A named point of contact for scope decisions during the build.

- Complexity of availability rules (shift patterns, multi-site working).
- Integration with existing HR, calendar or communication tools.
- Custom reporting formats or scheduled exports.
- Migration of historical rota or assignment data.

This service does not calculate or process pay; it manages planning and assignment data only.
HR compliance certification
The platform is not a substitute for statutory HR record-keeping or compliance certification.
Third-party subscriptions
Hosting, email delivery or other third-party services are quoted separately where required.
Ongoing support
Post-launch support is available as a separate, optional arrangement agreed in writing.
Workforce Planning & Resource Platforms — FAQ
That is the most common starting point. The initial conversation reviews your current spreadsheet or process and identifies which parts can move into a structured system, and which manual steps may remain by choice.
Integration is possible where a third-party system offers a suitable API, and is scoped and priced individually. It is not included in the starting price by default.
There is no fixed limit built into the approach; user volume and role complexity are discussed during scoping, as they affect the proposal.
The platform is browser-based and works on modern mobile browsers. A dedicated native mobile app is a separate scope of work.
You receive the source materials needed to maintain the system independently. Ongoing changes or support can also be arranged with ELVARIS separately, in writing.
